DETAILS OF VACANCIES IN CENTRAL GOVERNMENT
602 SHRI RAGHAV CHADHA:
Will the PRIME MINISTER be pleased to state:
(a) the details of the vacancies in Central Government including Group A, B and C;
(b) the details of the plans of Government to fill-in the 10 lakh claimed vacancies ;
(c) whether Government has provided 2 crore jobs per year and if so, the details thereof since 2017; and
(d) whether the Ministry plans to set up a panel or a committee 1n order to assess the labor force participation rate, work population ratio, and unemployment rate in both rural and urban areas?

(a): As per the Annual Report of Pay Research Units of the Department of Expenditure, the details of the vacancies in Central Government including Group A, B and C, as on 01.03.2021 is as below:

(b) to (d): Creation and filling up of posts in the Central Government is responsibility of the concerned Ministry/ Department and it is a continuous process. Vacancies in various Ministries/ Departments of the Central Government, their attached/ subordinate offices arise due to retirement, promotion, resignation, death etc. All Ministries/ Departments of the Central Government have been asked to take action in a mission mode for filling up of vacant posts in a time bound manner.
