The Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that all government offices and educational institutions in Tamil Nadu will be closed on the 17th Jan 2022

On the 17th, the Tamil Nadu government has stated that all government offices and educational institutions would be closed. The Government of Tamil Nadu has declared a 17th vacation because the 18th is a public holiday for Thaipusam. To make up for the January 17th holiday, the 29th Saturday has been designated as a working day.

The government has announced that from Friday (January 14) to Tuesday, there will be 5 days off in a row. Those coming home to celebrate Pongal have been made further pleased by the government’s declaration.

It was difficult to return to the hometown on Sunday since there was a complete curfew in effect. Because Monday is now a holiday, individuals who want to go to Pongal may do so without difficulties.
