<p>Ref:- This office letter of even no. dtd. 19.01.2022.</p>



<p>In addition to the list of sensitive posts of Gazetted cadre/SECR circulated vide this office letter under reference, the post of CAO/CON has also been identified as sensitive as per Railway Board’s letter No. 2017/V-1/ALSL/1/1 dtd. 04.02.2019. Hence, the post of CAOQ/Con has also been included in the list of sensitive posts.</p>

<p>Ref:- Railway Board’s letter No. 2017/V-1/ALSL/1/1 dtd. 29.09.2020. (Copy enclosed)</p>



<p>Railway Board vide their letter dtd. 10.12.2019 had advised Zonal Railways to identify the list of sensitive posts of Gazetted categories as per the nature of duties rather than the nomenclature of posts. Accordingly, vide this office letter dtd. 11.12.2019, all the PHODs, DRMs &amp; CWMs were requested to identify such posts of Gazetted cadre of their respective departments/divisions.</p>



<p>After receiving the list of Officers of Gaz. Cadre identified as sensitive by the PHODs, some additional posts were also included by vigilance SECR, keeping in view the nature of duties performed by them and a consolidated list of sensitive posts of Gaz. Cadre of SECR was prepared and put up to GM for his approval. The list of sensitive posts, approved by GM was sent to Railway Board.</p>



<p>Board vide their letter under reference stated that sensitive posts as approved by concerned General Manager and submitted to Board Vigilance would be deemed as ‘Sensitive’ in nature including the posts indicated in Annexure 8.1 of IRVM, 2018.</p>



<p>Accordingly, a list of Gazetted posts, identified as sensitive over SECR and further approved by Board is enclosed herewith for information and necessary action please.</p>



<p>As per extant instructions, Officers/officials should not continue in the same sensitive post for more than 4 years. If any official is working in the same sensitive post for more than the stipulated period, necessary action may be taken for his immediate transfer from that post.</p>



<p>Action taken may please be intimated to this office.</p>
