<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Mobile App (m-Awas) for allotment of General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) through Automated System of Allotment (ASA) launched</strong></p>

<p>Sh. Hardeep Puri, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs (I/C) launched a Mobile App (m-Awas) for allotment of Government accommodations in General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) in Delhi under the control of the Directorate of Estates, here today. Secretary, Housing and Urban Affairs, Sh. Durga Shanker Mishra and other senior officers of the ministry were also present on the occasion. The application has been developed by NIC. The dedicated application of online allotment i.e. e-Awas will support this App. A total number of 61,317 residential accommodations of various types are available in Delhi which are allotted to the eligible Central Government employees through Automated System of Allotment (ASA), by using login Id and password. The app will facilitate the applicants of the Central Government accommodation in Delhi as well as those who are in waiting list, to apply for allotment, view waiting list and the allotment lists. The app is user friendly and can be made operative from an android mobile phone. It can be downloaded free of cost from the website of GPRA i.e. https://gpra.nic.in .</p>
<p>The facility will be extended to the applicants of 8 other cities where ASA has been implemented and for the purpose of registration and filling of DE-II form.</p>

<p>Sub: <b>Entitlement of various types of residential accommodations based on the revised Pay Scales recommended by 6th CPC-reg.</b><br />
Ref: (i) NFIR&#8217;s PNM Item No. II/2014.</p>
<p>(ii) NFIR&#8217;s letter No. II/23/Part II dated 08/04/2016.</p>
<p>During the course of discussions on item No. I l/2014 in the PNM meeting held with the Railway Board on 08th/09th October 2015, the Official Side stated that as per entitlement of Government accommodation applicable to Central Government employees as notified by the .Ministry of Urban Development the entitlement of employees having Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- is also a Type-I quarter. It was further stated that modification of the entitlement of employees in Grade Pay 1800/- from Type-I to Type-II is not in conformity with MOUD&#8217;s Notification on the matter.</p>
<p>In order to examine the issue in detail and to respond further, Federation desires to have a copy of Notification issued by the Ministry of Urban Development.</p>
<p>NFIR, therefore, requests the Railway Board to provide copy of the notification of MOUD early.</p>
