Sub: Filling up of Promotional vacancies in Supervisory cadre.

The matter regarding the existence of a large number of vacancies, especially in promotional grades and their timely filling up has been emphasized time and again by CRE & CEO during various video conferences with PCPOs and General Managers, held during the last few months.

Attention is also invited to instructions contained in RBE No.62/2022, wherein it was reiterated that Railways should ensure making use of all modes of promotions i.e., Selection/Non-Selection/Trade Test/LDCE & GDCE to fill up the promotional vacancies.

Despite repeated instructions, the progress in the filling of promotional quota vacancies is not satisfactory. Board also desires that all pendency in MACP may also be liquidated at the earliest. It has been directed to monitor the progress of filling up promotional vacancies on monthly basis and for this purpose, you are requested to provide the required information in a Google sheet the link of which is mentioned below:

The information should be provided by 8 July 2022.
