CIRCULAR

Sub: Scheme for promotion of Adventure Sports and Similar Activities amongst Central Government Employees – Programmes to be organised by Youth Hostels Association of India for the year 2020-21.

The undersigned in directed to refer to Department of Personnel & Training Office Memorandum No.125/1/2015-16/ CCSCSB dated 04-12-2015 regarding Scheme for promotion of Adventure Sports & Similar Activities amongst Central Government Employees (Copy enclosed) and to inform that the Youth Hostel Association of India has offered the following programmes for Central Government Employees eligible under the Scheme:

* The Programme fees are tentative which can be changed because of any unforeseen reason.

I. TENTATIVE SCHEDULE OF ALL PROGRAMMES :

IV. THINGS TO BE BROUGHT BY PARTICIPANTS :

Wearable items: Trekking shoes, T-shirts/ Dry fit (3), Track pants (2), Track suit, Woollen/ Poly fill/ Down Jacket (1), Wind Jacket (1), Monkey cap, Gloves, Thermals, Inner garments, Light raincoat with hood, 3 pairs of woollen socks.

Accessories: Water bottle, lunch box, enamelled, steel mug or tumbler, steel or plastic plate, spoon, water Purifying tablets, pen-knifes, needle, thread, spare buttons, goggles (other than blue glasses), cold cream or Vaseline, soap, toilet paper, towel, Medicines which are normally used at home.

V. CANCELLATION POLICY :

Cancellation Policy is available on the website of YHAI, which may be checked while making online booking.

4. The interested and eligible Central Government Employees may submit his/ her application directly to YHAI and a copy of the same may be endorsed to Secretary, CCSCSB, Room No-361-B wing, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi. It is pertinent to mention that as per this Department’s O.M. No. 125/1/2015-16/ CCSCSB dated 8th December,
   2016, Special Casual Leave may be granted for a period of 10 days for this purpose including journey period. Advance payment for the programme has to be paid directly to the organiser and reimbursement as admissible will be made after successful completion of programme. On completion of said activity, applicant may submit expenditure details (fee receipt & Tickets in original) along with Aadhar Number and Bank Details (Name of Bank, Account Number, IFSC Code and Branch Code) for smooth reimbursement of claim.

5. It is mandatory to submit duly filled in check list along with proforma annexed herewith.

Sub: Scheme for Promotion of Adventure Sports & Similar Activities amongst Central Government Civilian Employees- Programmes to be organized by Garhwal Mandai Vikas Nigam Limited.

Please refer to the Department of Personnel & Training Office Memorandum of even number dated 04.12.2015 regarding Scheme for Promotion of Adventure Sports & Similar Activities amongst Central Government Civilian Employees( copy enclosed).

2. Garhwal Mandai Vikas Nigam Limited has offered the following programme for Central Government Civilian Employees eligible under the Scheme:

* The programme fees includes accommodation, food, and skiing Course(with safety equipments). The participants are requested to report in the evening 01 day prior of the commencement of the course

3. The interested and eligible employees may submit his/her application directly to Garhwal Mandai Vikas Nigam Limited, Dehradun, Uttrakhand and a copy of the same may be endorsed to Secretary, CCSCSB, Room No. 361-B wing, Lok Nayak Bhawan,Khan Market, New Delhi. Advance payment for the programme has to be paid directly to the organiser and reimbursement as admissible will be made after successful completion of programme. The undersigned is directed to refer to the Department of Personnel & Training Office Memorandum of even number dated 26th April 2016 regarding Scheme for Promotion of Adventure Sports & Similar Activities amongst Central Government Employees. 2. The Department of Personnel & Training has approved the Snow Skiing programme at Auli under the Scheme to be conducted by Garhwal Mandai Vikas Nigam Limited, Dehradun during January, 2017 to March, 2017:

Course Fee: 13000/- per person (reimbursement will be regulated as per para 7.3 of the scheme.)

3. The interested Government Employee may approach Garhwal Mandai Vikas Nigam Limited and submit his/her application directly to them and a copy of the same endorsed to Secretary, CCSCSB, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi. On completion of Adventure Activities, the Government servant concerned will have to be submitted the copy of documents issued by institute as proof of completion of said activity, expenditure details (issued by GMVNL) alongwith Bank Details (Name of Bank, Account Number, Branch Name and IFSC Code) and Aadhar Number for smooth reimbursement of claim.

4. It is, therefore, requested that the contents of the Scheme may please be disseminated amongst the Central Government employees to avail the benefits of the Scheme and encourage to participate in the Scheme.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub: Scheme for Promotion of Adventure Sports & Similar Activities amongst Central Government Employees, Calendar of Programme to be conducted by Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi.
The undersigned is directed to refer to the Department of Personnel & Training Office Memorandum of even number dated 26th April 2016 regarding Scheme for Promotion of Adventure Sports & Similar Activities amongst Central Government Employees. The same may be seen at www.persmin.nic.in-Welfare-sports-general/recent circulars-miscellaneous.

2. The Department of Personnel & Training has approved the following programme under the Scheme to be conducted by Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi during November, 2016 to January, 2017:

*Fee includes a wholesome and nutritious veg/non-veg meal, accommodation, equipment(less trekking shoe, socks, goggles, head gear), instructors, expenditure on porters, medical support and transportation within general area Uttarkashi.

endorsed to Secretary, CCSCSB, Lok Nayak Bhawan, Khan Market, New Delhi with Bank Details (Name of Bank, Account Number, Branch Name and IFSC Code) for smooth reimbursement of claim after completion of program.

5. In view of the above, it is requested that the contents of the Scheme (copy enclosed) may please be disseminated amongst the employees who are eligible to avail the benefits of the Scheme and encourage to participate in the Scheme.
