Subject: General Elections to the Legislative Assembly of Bihar – Grant of Paid holiday to employees on the day of poll – regarding

The undersigned is directed to state that as informed by the Election Commission of India, vide their letter No.ECI/ PN/ 64/ 2020, dated 25.09.2020, Schedule for General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Bihar are as under.

2. In this regard , it is stated that the guidelines issued by this Department vide OM 12/ 14/99-JCA, dated 10.10.2001 regarding closure of Government Offices and grant of paid holiday, may be followed by all the Central Government Offices, including the industrial establishments, in the concerned State.

B. Status of Proposals under consideration

Note: (1) CCA for Services at Sl. No. 16 to 18 may take necessary action at the earliest.

(2) All CCAs, where previous cadre review held prior to September 2015, is requested to prepare the proposal and submit the same to DoPT. Status of the proposal in Administrative Ministry, as on date, may be sent immediately. (mail: harmit.pahuja@gov.in, randhir.kumar14@nic.in)

(3) All CCAs of Central Group ‘A’ Services to provide Statistical Profile (as on 1/7/2020) and Service Profile (wherever due) to DoPT. (mail: harmit.pahuja@gov.in, randhir.kumar14@nic.in)
