Subject: Reservation to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) in promotions under secretary grade of CSS – reg.

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM No. 36012/1/202- Estt. (Res-II) dated 17.05.2022 on the above subject.

2. The categories of Benchmark Disability identified as suitable for the posts under secretary of CSS in terms of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Notification dated 04.01.2021 are as under:

Note: The abbreviations used are as given in the Notification dated 04.01.2021.

3. Accordingly, in continuation to this Department’s O.M No.5/12/2022-(CSIU) dated, the Ministries/Departments of Government of India who are participating in CSS are requested to provide urgently the detailed information of Under Secretary (ad-hoc) and Section Officers (SOs) of CSS, who belong to persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) category in the following format:

4.
