Subject: National Award to Teachers-Initiation of Selection process.

Madam/Sir,
I am to refer to MHRD’s circular No. F.1-5/2018-NAT dated 06.05.2019 on the subject cited above and to forward the circular along with revised NAT Guidelines and timelines for National Award to teachers.

Your attention is invited to the fact how we complete the selection process of teachers for the National Awards. It has been observed last year that many proposals forwarded by the Regional Selection Committees were not up to the mark and worth consideration. Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is blessed with a lot of outstanding teachers who are contributing immensely to the institutions society and ultimately to the nation. Many teachers are having remarkable achievement in the filed of education. Many teachers who are worth of consideration for awards but do not take part in this process due to their busy schedule or some other reasons. These teachers need to be encouraged to apply for this Award through online process. Mere completion of formality to forward some names of teachers to KVS (HQ) under this process will not serve our purpose. Achievements, efforts & records of the individuals whose names are being selected by the Regional Selection Committees must be quite visible and from their proposals In nutshell this is to say that proposals should be self explanatory in itself.

All Deputy Commissioners are requested to take personal interest to identify, motivate and forward worthwhile proposals so that KVS nominations may be adjudged amongst the best proposals by the National Level Independent July The conferment of National Award to a genuine teacher inspires other teachers to endeavor for higher achievement.

Kindly give this circular wide publicity so that the same can be known by every teacher. Timelines prescribed for each stage of this process may be strictly adhered to.

Subject: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Employees Grievances Portal.

Sir/Madam,
The matter pertaining to redressal of grievances have engaged the attention of the Commissioner, KVS and it has been observed that non-redressal of grievances results in dis-satisfaction among employees and also results in increase in court cases, which causes unnecessary expenditure as well as wastage of valuable time also of the Officers at higher levels.

Presently grievances of the employees of KVS are being redressed in KVS through CPGRAMS portal and Shikayat Nivaran Divas which is being organised in each Regional Office on Every Second Saturday.

Hence, with a view to promote work culture by enhancing satisfaction level amongst the employees, KVS has decided to provide a one time opportunity to its employees to submit their grievances on Google Form link. It is a onetime measure to redress the grievances of the employees in one go as far as possible.

This Google Form link will remain open from 09.05.2019 to 18.05.2019.

Sir/Madam,

It is to state that the Govt of India, Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare has issued an Office Memorandum No.F.No.42/04/2019-P&PW(D) dated 06th March 2019 regarding the revision of rates for Dearness Relief to Central Government Pensioners/Family Pensioners (drawing pension under Seventh CPC) from 9% to 12% w.e.f. 01.01.2019.

You are, therefore, requested to comply with the same for all cases of Pensioners/family pensioners of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject: Extension of CGHS facilities to the retired employees of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) – matter regarding.

Ministry of HRD, vide letter No.F3-5/2011-UT-2 dated:13-03-2019 has conveyed the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare O.M.No.S.11016/8/2015-CGHS (P) dated 06.03.2019 vide which Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has extended the implementation of CGHS facilities to all the retired employees of KVS, who were having CGHS cards while in service, in all CGHS covered Cities, on the same terms and conditions on which retired employees of KVS were extended CGHS facilities in Delhi/NCR vide Ministry of Health & Family Welfare OM dated 29.05.2015.

Other terms and conditions of MoH&FW OM dated 29.05.2015 circulated vide KVS (HQ) OM No.11086/01/2012-KVS HQ (Admn.II) 793/805 dated 21.08.2015 will remain unchanged.
