<p style="background: #2c58b7; color: #fff; padding: 5px 8px;"><strong>Subject:- Introduction of automated system in the allotment of Servant Quarters/garages for allottees of Curzon Road Hostel, K.G.Marg, New Delhi.</strong></p>
<p>With a view to provide for choices of the allotment of Servant Qtrs/garages to the eligible applicants of Curzon Road Hostel, it has been decided to introduce automated system of allotment w.e.f 01.08.2013.</p>
<p>For this purpose only online applications for allotment of Servant Quarters/Garages will be accepted henceforth. On receipt of the filled up application duly forwarded by the controlling office of the applicant, his/her request for allotment of Servant Quarter/Garage will be wait listed.</p>
<p>All the existing and new applicants for Servant Quarter/Garage will have to indicate their choices from the vacancies on offer.</p>
<p>All the Servant Quarters/garages falling vacant up to the last day of a month, would be displayed on the website of the Directorates of Estates(estates.nic.in) for allotment during the coming month. The applicant will have to choose/prefer Servant Qtrs/garages of their choice during 1st to 9th of the month and allotment will be made on 10th of the month. During 1st to 9th of the month, an applicant can revise/modify his/her choices as and when required.</p>
<p>Only those applicants will be considered for allotment on 10th of the each month who have submitted their choices online during 1st to 9th of the month.</p>
<p>An applicant will have to accept the allotment of a Servant Qtrs/garage of his /her choice failing which he/she will be debarred for a period 3 months.</p>
<p>A particular Servant Quarters/garage choosen/preferred by an applicant will be allotted to him/her if he/she happens to be the senior most applicant for the particular Servant Quarters/garage. After the allotment, acceptance from duly forwarded by the concerned office as per the enclosed Annexure may be sent to Hostel Section for acceptance of the Servant Quarters/garages.</p>
<p>All the existing and new applicants are also requested to furnish their e-mail ID and mobile number to the Directorate of Estates urgently, to enable the Directorate of Estates to activate their account, however, those who have already got their accounts activated need not send e-mail ID and mobile number.</p>

<div>Subject : <strong>Revision of rates of damages for unauthorised occupation of General Pool Residential Accommodation.</strong></div>
<div></div>
<div>The undersigned is directed to refer to this Directorate / O.M. No.18011/2/2002 Pol-III dated 25th November 20th on the above subject and to say that the it has been decided to make revision of the rates of damages recovered from unauthorised occupants of General Pool accommodation a regular exercise as a multiple of normal rate of licence fee as given in the Annexure to this OM. Henceforth, the rate of damages / market rent will automatically get revised as and when the rat of normal licence fee under FR-45-A is revised. In addition to this, garden charges as applicable will also be recovered.</div>

<div>2. These rates will be effective from 1st January 2013 and will also be in force till next revision of rate of normal licence fee.</div>
<div></div>
<div>3. In respect of other departmental pools ot accommodation in Delhi/other stations, the rates of damages prescribed for General Pool accommodation wherever such accommodation exists, have to be adopted by various other Ministries/Departments. Similar rates of damages are to be worked out by the CPWD for other stations where General Pool Accommodation is available and the rates so assessed are to be adopted for recovery of damages not only in respect of General Pool residential accommodation at that station but also in respect of departmental pool accommodation in all stations. In stations, where there are no General Pool</div>
<div>Residential Accommodation, the Ministry of Department have to get suitable unit rates worked out by the CPWD/local PWD.</div>

<div><strong>A. DOs</strong></div>
<div></div>
<div>1. The allottee shall maintain a good standard of cleanliness of the house/premises.</div>
<div></div>
<div>2. The outlets of wash basins and floor traps shall be maintained clean and free from left overs so as to prevent clogging.</div>
<div></div>
<div>3. The allottee may Immediately inform the CPWD/NBCC Service Centre in case of leakage, seepage or blocking of drain/gutters.</div>
<div></div>
<div>4. The allottee shall use only good quality of electrical appliances so as  not to subject the electrical installations to any damage.</div>
<div></div>
<div>5. Air conditioners should be procured only through manufacturer or their authorized dealers and be of reputed make.</div>
<div></div>
<div>6. The maintenance of the AC units should be entrusted to the authorized/qualified service centers only.</div>
<div></div>
<div>7. All the electric appliances and all the air conditioners and stabilizers of ACs must be kept off when not in use.</div>
<div></div>
<div>8. The repairs of electrical wiring/fittings in the house shall be got done only through CPWD/NBCC maintenance staff. In case of any damage only qualified electrician shall be engaged to remove faults in electrical installations.</div>
<div></div>
<div>9. The allottee shall water the plants, lawns and hedges from time to time as per need so that they are maintained in good health.</div>
<div></div>
<div>10.The allottee will take care of the flora and protect them from any sort of damage.</div>
<div></div>
<div>11.The allottee will plant any new plants, shrubs or trees only on consultation with CPWD/NBCC maintenance staff.</div>
<div></div>
<div>12.The allottee will ensure that the occupants of their servant quarters will maintain good/hygienic conditions and also do not createin convenience to others.</div>
<div></div>
<div><strong>B. DON’TS</strong></div>
<div></div>
<div>1. The allottee shall not undertake/let any unauthorized construction in the premises.</div>
<div></div>
<div>2. The allottee shall not tamper with any water supply sanitary and other fittings/fixtures.</div>
<div></div>
<div>3. The allottee shall not dump any dismantled or other materials or furniture on the roofs, balconies in common areas or over sun-shades.</div>
<div></div>
<div>4. The allottee should not prevent designated staffs of CPWD/NBCC from carrying out repair/inspection works during office time. They should not also stop CPWD/NBCC staff from cleaning over-head tanks. They should cooperate with CPWD/NBCC staff so that the work In the quarter Including adjoining quarters can be carried out properly.</div>

<div>5. The allottee will not use residential accommodation for any other purpose.</div>
<div></div>
<div>6. The allottee shall not cut or prune any trees without proper order from the competent authority.</div>
<div></div>
<div>7. The allottee shall not store any plastic bottles, broom, scrubs or dusters in the electric distribution box.</div>
<div></div>
<div>8. The allottee shall not tamper with any electrical fittings and wires in the house.</div>
<div></div>
<div>9. The installed light and power switches shall not be misused for heavy duty electrical equipments.</div>
<div></div>
<div>10.The allottee should not undertake any change in servant room viz.pantry, toilet attached to flat/bungalow.</div>
<div></div>
<div>11.The allottee should not undertake any change In internal plumbing work.</div>
