The undersigned is directed to say that vide memorandum No. 6/1/2011-NS dated 23.10 2018 (copy enclosed). Govt. of India. Ministry of Finance. Department of Economic Affairs (Budget Division) has intimated scheme-wise commission of agents as under:-

2. It is requested to circulate these changes to all concered for information and necessary guidance. Same may also be placed on the notice board of all Post Offices in Public area.

3. This issue with the approval of Competent Authority.

The Deepawali festival is an important festival spread all over the Country and Celebrated by and large. The festival will start from 28th and continue up to 2nd November.

As the festival is in the last dates of the month. Mostly employees will not be having money to spend and to celebrate Deepawali festival.

It is therefore, requested to kindly cause suitable orders for disbursement of salary of all staff working in Department of Posts on 25th October, 2016 so that the officials can celebrate the festival happily.

A positive action is highly solicited.

The Union Cabinet today approved the proposal of the Department of Posts to enhance the ceiling for calculation of ex-gratia bonus payable to Gramin Dak Sevaks from Rs. 2,500/- to Rs.3,500/- same as that prescribed for the regular departmental employees. The decision would be applicable with prospective effect that is from the accounting year 2012-13 payable in 2013-14.

The increase in bonus calculation ceiling will restore the long established parity between regular departmental employees and Gramin Dak Sevaks on the issue of payment of bonus. This decision will benefit 2.63 lakh Gramin Dak Sevaks working in the Department of Posts, who play a very vital role in providing postal, financial and insurance services in the rural, hilly and tribal areas of the country.
