West Bengal Govt Hikes 3% DA to its employees with effect from March 2023

The state’s (independent) finance minister, Chandrima Bhattacharya, has announced a 3% increase in dearness allowances for West Bengal government employees from March 2023.

In March 2023, the WB state government will increase the DA for employees, including pensioners, family pensioners and teachers, by 3% to a total of 6%. Note that his last Dearness Allowance was upgraded in January 2021 and from 1 January 2021 the same 3% increase was granted to West Bengal government employees.
