CBSE Secondary and Senior School Syllabus 2022-2023: CBSE’s curriculum is based on the National Education Policy 2020 and aims to offer students the opportunity to attain academic achievement.

Subject: Secondary and Senior School Curriculum 2022-23

1. CBSE annually provides curriculum for classes IX to XII containing academic content, syllabus for examinations with learning outcomes, pedagogical practices and assessment guidelines.

2. Considering the feedback of stakeholders and other prevailing conditions, the Board will conduct the annual scheme of assessment at the end of the Academic Session 2022-23 and the curriculum has been designed accordingly. 3. It is important that schools ensure curriculum transaction as per the directions given in the initial pages of the curriculum document. The subjects should be taught as per the curriculum released by the Board with the help of suitable teaching-learning strategies such as Art-Integrated Education, Experiential Learning, and Pedagogical Plans etc. wherever possible.

4. Before making annual pedagogical plan to ensure curriculum transaction for optimal learning, it is desirable that the Head of the School may take a session with all the teachers on the important topics covered in the initial pages of the curriculum document as well as the topics covered under subject-wise syllabus.

5. Sample Question Papers with a detailed design of the Question Paper will be made available on CBSE’s website in due course of time.

• The scheme is open to all CBSE affiliated schools across the world.
• Entries from students studying in Class IX to XII may be sent along with details of the students and two coloured passport size photos.
• The Principal may authenticate that the art work is original.
• The art work must be related to themes on education, where its content should not hurt sentiments of an individual or community and should not be anti-national or communal.
• It should be in A-3 size and done in oil /pastel/ water / poster colours.
• Entries should be packed carefully to ensure intactness of paper and colour.
• Three best art works per school can be sent.
• Online entries may be sent only in JPEG format to rs.procbse@gmail.com

• CBSE will set up a three member screening committee to select the best entries.
• More than one entry may be selected from one school also.

• Selected entries will be suitably acknowledged by the board giving by-line of the young artist and brief profile.
• Selected entries will become the property of the board.
• Schools or participant will not use the same work for any other purpose.
