<p>The undersigned is directed to state that, as informed by the Election Commission of India, vide their letter No. 78/EPS/2022 dated 24.03.2022, Bye-Elections to One (1} Parliamentary Constituency i.e., 40-Asansol PC of West Bengal and 4(Four) Assembly Constituencies of West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and Maharashtra, 2022 are scheduled to be held as under:-</p>

<p>2. In this regard, it is stated that the guidelines have been issued by this Department, vide OM No. 12/14/99-JCA, dated 10.10.2001, regarding grant of paid holiday on the day of bye-election to the relevant Parliamentary Constituency and the Assembly Constituencies where elections are to be conducted. It is reiterated that these guidelines may be followed by all the Central Government Offices, including Industrial Establishment, in the concerned States.</p>



<p>3. The above instructions may please be brought to the notice of all concerned.</p>
