Sub: Re-circulation of instructions reg. revision of the rates of Cycle (Maintenance) Allowance.

Ref: Board’s letter No.F(E)I/2017/AL-7/1 dated 11.08.2017

Consequent to. implementation of Seventh Central Pay Commission’s recommendations, the rates of Cycle (Maintenance) Allowance were revised vide Board’s letter mentioned under reference.

It has been brought to notice of Board that Board’s instructions regarding grant of Cycle (Maintenance) Allowance are not being followed / have not been implemented by some of the Railways/ Divisions.

The instructions regarding Cycle (Maintenance) Allowance as contained in Board’s letter No .F(E)I/2017/AL-7/1 dated 11.08.2017 are therefore being re-circulated for information/ compliance.
