Subject: Conduct of Swachhata Pakhwada-Swachhata Hi Sewa – regarding.
Sir/Madam,
I am directed to refer to above mentioned subject and to say that Govt. of India is celebrating “Swachhata Hi Sewa- Garbage Free India” Campaign from 15th September to 2nd October, 2023.
- In view of above, all Area Welfare Officers (AWOs)/CGERWAs are requested to organise the activities as per schedule indicated below:

| 1 | 25th to 30th September, 2023 | i) Swachhata Pledge taking ceremony on the day of shram Dan. ii) To organize Shram Dan by involving mass participation residents on 234-24 September or on 30th September-1st October, 2023. iii) To organize Prabhat Pheri on the theme of Swachhata Abhiyan on 30th September and 1st October, 2023. |
| 2 | Swachhata Diwas Celebration 1st and 2nd October | Organisation of Painting and Rangoli competition. |
- All Area Welfare Officers/ CGERWAs are requested to ensure organisation of these activities in accordance with the guidelines/instructions as mentioned above and upload photos before and after cleanliness drive and activities of Prabhat Pheri, Painting and Rangoli competition on DDWS Portal (https://swachhbharatmission.gov.in/shs2023/). The photographs of the activities may be shared on regular basis at email ID: kb.malhotra [at] nic.in. A consolidated report may also be furnished by 5 October, 2023.
