sir,
not only the service seniority should be taken into account but also the upward revision in grade pay rs 4600 should correspond with the basic pay of rs 7450-11500 scale and CAT in bangalore bench has pronounced in his judgement that any upward revision in GP should be correspondingly linked the basic pay of the merged scales i.e gp 4600 should be considered with the basic pay of rs 7425 -11500 vide CAT O.A. no.170/00730/2017 dt 18th june 2018. which i feel very rational and in accordance with the principle of
natural justice and also the number of service one has put in 6500-10500 scale should be taken into consideration
i am a retired HSG1 grade subpostmaster in the scale6500-10500 i had put in 6 years of service and basic pay at the time of super annuation in 2002 was rs 7700 and my pension rs 3850/
i hope the department of pension will see reason and issue a revised/modified order
