Andaman and Nicobar Government Holidays 2021
India are usually closed on public holidays in all state government. There are certain holidays that are state-specific and some where banks throughout the country are closed. All-India holidays include Republic Day (January 26), Independence Day (August 15), and Gandhi Jayanti (October 2). Festivals like Diwali, Christmas, Eidh, Guru Nanak Jayanti, Good Friday are also holidays.
Most of the State governments have followed the Central Government Holiday list for its offices. State Governments are giving more importance to local festivals. Government Holidays in India are subject to change in different states.
