REIMBURSEMENT OF MEDICINES : SPECIAL SANCTION IN VIEW OF COVID-19

Pl ref this HQ letter No B/49761/AG/ECHS dated 23 Mar 2020, even No dt 24 Apr 2020 and 01 Jun 2020.

Armed forces have opened a site for stay at home OPD consultation (httos://www.sehatopd.in) as a pilot project under the aegis of HQ IDS. The site is operating as a test bed and ECHS beneficiaries are also permitted to log in and consult. In view of the above it is intended to permit purchase of CT medicines based on the prescription generated on the SEHATOPD site and claim reimbursement.

Accordingly following amendments are made in para 2 of above mentioned letters quoted in Para 1 above.

Para 2. Guidelines on maintaining social distancing between individuals has also been advised by WHO. In the spirit of above guidelines, Veterans having life style diseases on long treatment may purchase one month requirement of all medicines based on the prescription held (prescribed by Polyclinic/ Service hosp/ Empanelled hosp), irrespective of NA or otherwise.
