Sir… I am Central Govt Pensioner retired in 2014.Mohfw, New Delhi issued OM dt 28/10/22 for upgradation of ward entitlements (based on upgraded pay scale after 7th CPC ). The said OM dt 28/10 and clarification issued thereon 22/11 clears that *All the pensioner’s, serving employees are covered under it and may get respective ward (Gen /Semi pvt /Pvt ) based on basic pay as per 7th CPC upgradation. However, cghs authority at Pune declined to accept application of pensioners retired prior to Jan 2017 and said that this benefit is applicable only to pensioners retired after Jan 2017. This decision appears to be arbitrary, unjust and against constitution guarantee cl 14/16. OM itself effective from date of issue i. e. 28/10/22,then how it is applicable for few pensioner’s retired after Jan 2017 alone and leaving thousands of aged pensioner’s, who’s basis pay upgraded in 2016 and er entitled for cghs respective ward, as per pay slab pattern. My humble appeal on behalf of aged pensioner’s to address this genuine grievance and extend the upgraded ward entitlements to all similarly placed Pensioner’s. I oblige. Tks
