Sub: Comprehensive Transfer Policy – Exemption from 5 years’ service condition
Ref.: Railway Board’s letter No.E(NG)I- 2015/TR/20 dated 10.02.2017(RBE No.12/2017)

Reference above, in para (a) of Railway Board’s letter No.E(Rep.) I-2006/Transfer/ Misc./1 dated 25.08.2008, it has been clearly mentioned that, “minimum service condition will not be applied in case of Request Transfers of Compassionate Appointees”.
Regrettably, the said condition was not included in Railway Board supra dated 10.02.2017.
Board are, therefore, requested to circulate afresh Comprehensive Transfer Policy, duly including above cited condition.
