7th central pay commission: Pay scales of JTS Entry Grade Group ‘A’ of Geological Survey of India and Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology) Group ‘A’, Scientist ‘B’(Chemical) Group ‘A’ and Scientist ‘B’(Geophysics) Group ‘A’, Ministry of Jal Shakti
Brief particulars relating to the post for which recruitment is being made through this examination.
1. Geological Survey of India
Chemist, Group A –
(a) Candidates selected for appointment will be appointed on probation for a period of two years which may be extended, if necessary.
(b) During the period of probation the candidates may be required to undergo such course of training and instructions and to pass such examination and tests as may be prescribed by the competent authority.

(d) Conditions of service and leave and pensions are those described in the Fundamental Rules and Civil Services Regulations respectively, subject to such modifications as may be made by Government from time to time.
(e) Conditions of Provident Fund are those laid down in the General Provident Fund (Central Services) Rules, subject to such modifications as may be made by Government from time to time.
(f) All Officers of Central Ground Water Board are liable for services in any part of India or outside India.
